Lately, much of the labor has been done by none other than "The Doug".
Of my twin sons, he is the harder working of the two.

He has just completed bringing the earthen grade up to the top of the
concrete block anchoring the end of track. Soon we will have grass here.

Image 20: The End-of-Track Receptacle

The object you see at the end of the track is a receptacle made from one
inch square tubing. The new lift will connect to this device.

Image 21: The second longest tangent
-
This section reminds me of the Conway Scenic Railroad here in New Hampshire.
The grading has been completed and the track is nice and level.

Image 22: The completed bridge

The bridge now has rail and this completes the load/unload spur project.
