New Years Day -- 1/1/5

What are your winter projects? One of mine is leveling track. Today
is January 1, 2005. The temperature is 50 degrees F. What a great
day to do leveling, adding ballast, and tamping.



The river is now running at flank speed. Last fall I deepened the
channel. That is a good thing, since the river can now flow freely
without freezing. Hopefully I won't have another ice flood.



I also had to relevel part of this curve and the Timson bridge.
