This is the rail that is completed so far. This is
looking east from the south side of the loop.



And the new track sections just layed, westward.



The bottom of the west end bend had to be moved
from the original track plan to allow 40' radius curves.



It is a real trick missing all these trees.



And here is where the north corner of the west end bend
meets the rails already layed on the west end.



I have a feeling this is going to take an awful lot
of soil to fill this in.
