The Line Reopens (with help).

"You can't win against nature"
But sometimes you can ambush it
when it's not looking.



An unusually warm late winter took care
of most of the snow, but the ice remained.



So a couple hours of hard work with the hatchet,
and the line is once again open for traffic.



Here's a panoramic view of the newly opened line.
Most of the line was virtually unaffected by
the intense cold that this winter brought.
