Wimberly, Blanco, and Southern

Here's a nice railroad I visited in Wimberley, Texas. I can't call it
little though. It is anything but. I am at the loading/unloading area.
-

From inside the covered loading platform, you can see coaling towers,
car barns, and massive amounts of interesting trackwork.
-

The mainline itself is configured as a very large "folded dogbone"
The legs of the dogbone give the illusion of double-track main line.
-

There's a fairly long section of relatively straight double track.

-

The line boasts several large steel bridges. This one's over a small wash.
-

This is a loop at one end of the dogbone. Notice the cut through the limestone.
-

There is some new construction going on. A new yard is being added inside
the upper loop. Also a new platform can be seen here.
-

And a new bridge is under construction inside the loop over the same dry wash.
-

This is the largest of the bridges, and to the left, a new spur along the lot line.
