Shorty Tank Car Details

They say always take lots of "Florida Orange" with you.
I hope 5120 gallons is enough.

This is a fun and easy car to build. Just start with a 10 gallon air
tank from Harbor Freight or one of them and start welding.

Then when all is ready paint it your favorite color. Orange is NOT mine.

This is a standard "Tom Bee" tube frame.
Notice the electric brakes on one truck and air on the other.

I just welded four pieces of angle-iron to the tank and drilled
holes to match the frame. Actually, I drilled first.
The bolt you see goes through the angle-iron and through the walkway frame
and through the "Tom Bee" frame. A lockwasher and nut finish the connection.
